Opening night of High Desert Chamber Music’s landmark 10th anniversary season features celebrated violin virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn, who has earned a stunning reputation as one of America’s most beloved soloists. She performs in partnership with the legendary 1720 "Red Mendelssohn" Stradivarius. This is her debut in the HDCM Concert Series, and the first time she has ever performed in Bend, so don't miss this performance to kick off High Desert Chamber Music's 10th anniversary season!

High Desert Chamber Music’s landmark 10th anniversary season continues with Avery Fisher Career Grant winner and Grammy-nominated cellist Peter Wiley, with pianist and Steinway artist Anna Polonsky. Making their debut in the HDCM Concert Series, Wiley and Polonsky’s collaboration began as that of mentor and student at the Curtis Institute of Music and at the Marlboro Music Festival. Since then, they have performed together as a duo countless times, and one of their favorite projects was presenting Beethoven’s complete works for cello and piano in a single concert.

This exciting ensemble has been making an indelible impression on the musical landscape of Southern California. With performance degrees from the Juilliard School, Cleveland Institute of Music, Yale University and Rice University, members of the trio have been Grand Prize Winners and finalists in several prestigious competitions, including the Coleman National Chamber Music Competition, Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, and the D'angelo International Piano Competition.

This Pasadena based group has been the resident and premier group featured in the HDCM Concert Series and they perform regularly at a number of chamber music series in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest.
